Question: How will my time entry be visible to my manager?
Answer: Submit your time entry to make it visible to your manager. When you Save it is only visible to you.
Question: Why I'm getting an email on Friday?
Answer: This to notify you to enter and submit your time for the current week.
Question: Why I'm getting an email on Monday?
Answer: This to remind you to enter and submit your time for the last week.
Question: If my time entry is not correct, what should I do?
Answer: You can request time adjustment from the Time Adjustment Request under Support Menu.
Question: Can I submit a timesheet adjustment form if I forgot to allocate my time?
Answer: Yes. You can request a Time Adjustment Request time adjustment for hours or PPNs that need to be corrected within the accounting month. Your manager will need to approve this for the data to be reflected in T3.
Question: Who will approve my time adjustment requests?
Answer: Your manager will approve your time adjustment requests. They will receive a notification. If your manager is out, you can submit a Help Ticket to allow the next manager in your line to approve it.
Question: How can I tell what the PPN name is from the favorites in my Timecard?
Answer: Hover over the PPN and you should see a pop up with the name of the PPN. This allows you to see it in the phone format as well.
Question: If I do not know what PPN to use, who do I contact.
Answer: Your first point of contact is your manager. If they are not available, please ask your engineering finance representative.
Question: Do I need to approve my time in T3?
Answer: You are approving your time by checking the certification box and submitting your hours.
Question: Does my manager need to approve my time in T3?
Answer: No. However, your manager will need to approve a Time Adjustment Request.
Question: Do I need to allocate my hours every day?
Answer: No. You will have the option to allocate your hours every day. The requirement is Monday by 11 am for the week prior (see alternate times for hourly worker on Hourly specific FAQs)
Question: What is the deadline to submit my time?
Answer: Exempt employees – 11 AM for the week prior. Hourly employees – 1 PM for the week prior.
Question: Can I delegate my time while out of the office?
Answer: Yes. You can delegate your time to your manager for any planned out of the office time.
Question: What do I do about Time Tracking when I am scheduled to take Maternity or Paternity Leave?
Answer: Your time still needs to be submitted when you are out. Therefore, please delegate your time to your manager who will be able to submit it three weeks at a time on your behalf to 78802.
Question: What do I do if my employee is out on leave and has not delegated their time?
Answer: You may submit an Application or Password Issue in the Answers system and select Technical Time Tracking (T3) as the application.
Question: Why is the save button red and the submit button is blue?
Answer: The submit button will turn red when hovered over. This is intended to help delineate between saving and submitting. Saved records can be updated. Submitted records cannot be updated unless a time adjustment request is completed and approved by your manager.
Question: What do I do if my PPN is requiring a Sub PPN Level, but I do not know what sub PPN I should charge to?
Answer: If this is the case please record your time at the #####-PARENT level. Sub PPNs were added so that global PPNs could be used in the India system, so if you are not asked to track at a sub level you continue to use the PARENT level.
