Question: Do I need to allocate PUT (Personal Unpaid Time)?
Answer: No. You only need to allocate paid hours in T3.
Question: Will my eTime time card be visible in T3?
Answer: No. You will need to allocate your equivalent eTime clocked hours in T3. If the total hours allocated match the total hours clocked, you will be able to submit the time allocation.
Question: When will my eTime be visible?
Answer: Data from eTime is refreshed hourly for the current week, and historical edits are updated weekly on Mondays.
Question: Do I need to approve my time in T3?
Answer: You are approving your time by checking the certification box and submitting your hours.
Question: Does my manager need to approve my time in T3?
Answer: No. However, your manager will need to approve a Time Adjustment Request.
Question: How do I know if my eTime data is present?
Answer: eTime hours will be visible in your T3 time entry screen (clock system hours box).
Question: Will T3 have a clock in/out button for remote workers?
Answer: No. T3 isn’t a time clock system. The T3 tool is intended to capture paid hours worked against PPNs.
Question: What do I do if T3 is not accurately reflecting my eTime hours?
Answer: You can submit a Help ticket for functionality concerns. You may submit an Application or Password Issue in the Answers system and select Technical Time Tracking (T3) as the application.
Question: Do I need to allocate my hours every day?
Answer: No. You will have the option to allocate your hours every day. The requirement is Monday by 1 pm for the week prior for hourly workers*.
Question: What is the deadline to submit my time?
Answer: Hourly workers have until Monday at 1pm to submit their time. Exempt workers have an 11am deadline*.
Question: Do I have to match my time to the clock time each day?
Answer: No, you must match the allocation of the total time for the week. The digital time in the Clock System Hours box needs to match the total hours for the week.

Answer: Below is a chart to show previously used eTime PPNs and what should now be used in the T3 tool. For other non-absence overhead PPNs, please consult your organization.
